My Workout Playlist for the Gym

August 3, 2010

Souce: Steve & Jemma Copley

I tried to mix a bunch of genres in there with strong bass, fast pace, and a good beat.

  • Daft Punk – Harder Better Faster Stronger
  • Survivor – Eye of the Tiger

  • Mindless Self Indulgence – Bring the Pain
  • Smashing Pumpkins – Bullets with Butterfly Wings
  • Blink 182 – The Rock Show
  • Black Eyed Peas – Hey Mama

I was going to put Boom Boom Pow at first but the lyric “2000 and late” irks me.

  • Sixx AM – Life is Beautiful
  • Cobra Starship – Bring it (Snakes on a Plane)

You know you want abs as badass as Samuel L.

  • Dead or Alive Cover (Flo Rida R&B cover or Dope rock cover) – Right Round
  • System of a Down – Sugar
  • Rammstein – Du Hast
  • Muse –  Knights of Cydonia

This one also makes me want to play Guitar Hero. (That one part toggling between the ring and pinky fingers is a workout in itself, if you know what I’m talking about.)

  • Rage Against the Machine – Renegades of Funk
  • Basshunter –  Boten Anna (remix)
  • Justin Timberlake – Lovestoned (DJ Tiesto remix)
  • Girls Aloud – Something Kinda Ooh (Flip & Fill remix)

Had to put some girly techno in there to even out the hard rock.

  • KMFDM – Techno Syndrome (Mortal Kombat theme)
  • Run DMC – Walk this Way (Dj syskey remix)

Classic raprock crossover action with a little DJ action to speed it up.

  • Elvis Costello – Pump it Up
  • The Prodigy – Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix)

I like to listen to this one while treadmilling it up  Speaking of treadmilling it up…

  • Ok Go –  Here it Goes Again
