He is 72 today!
Sir Patrick Stewart is most famous as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Professor X from Marvel’s X-men film series, and more recently, the voice actor for the pervy CIA director Avery Bullock from American Dad! Quite an interesting career since his early, classically-trained days doing Shakespeare theater.
Patrick Stewart is still very much active at conventions and is an exceptionally talented and beloved actor in the nerd community.
Happy Birthday, Captain. May you live long and prosper.

I just picked up my Next Generation Enterprise Hallmark ornament. PIcard’s voice is on it reciting the opening lines. Nice!
No way! I think I need a Patrick Stewart alarm clock, so I can rise every morning to those dulcet tones.
